Hypnosis is a completely natural state — kind of like when you’re watching a movie, driving on autopilot, or just about to fall asleep. If you can sit through a movie, you can be hypnotized. I’ll gently and safely guide you into that relaxed state where your subconscious is more open and receptive. You don’t have to “try” — just allow.
Nope! You’re always in control. While in hypnosis, your conscious mind rests, but you’re still completely aware of what’s happening. You can’t be forced to do anything against your will — period. Stage hypnosis makes it look like people are “controlled,” but those volunteers are 100% willing participants who want the spotlight.
And honestly, when I was weighed down by guilt, extra weight, and sleepless nights, that felt way more like being out of control. Hypnotherapy helped me reclaim my power by uncovering the old suggestions I picked up as a kid — and rewriting them.
I get it — but don’t worry, hypnosis is a natural state. The worst that can happen? You fall asleep and wake up refreshed (oh no, how terrible 😉). It’s like watching a great movie: when it ends, you shift your focus back to the world around you, maybe even with a new perspective. You’ll always “come out” of it — usually feeling lighter, calmer, and more energized.
That’s totally normal! Emotions are simply energy moving through the body. Sometimes your subconscious releases old stuff with laughter, sometimes with tears. Both are healing. And don’t worry — you’ll still be completely safe and aware the whole time. (Honestly, I see tears as your soul’s way of saying, “Ahh, finally!”)
Because your subconscious mind is amazing! It holds all your memories, beliefs, and patterns — and it knows everything about you. Have you ever struggled to remember a name, only for it to pop into your mind later when you weren’t even trying? That’s your subconscious at work.
In hypnosis, your conscious mind takes a back seat so you can access that deeper wisdom. You’re still aware, but relaxed and not “trying” — which is exactly when breakthroughs happen. Our minds are seriously so cool.
